Tikitu Quinnauyuaq (1908-1992) was a printmaker from Kinngait (Cape Dorset). While little information is known about his life, his works are remembered and exhibited by countless collectors, museums, and galleries worldwide.
His prints were presented in several annual Cape Dorset Graphic collections in the 60s and 90s. Quinnauyuaq and his art have also represented Inuit art in several exhibitions in Canada, the United States, France, and England.

His works usually depict traditional Inuit life. They are formally innovative and his compositions have a rather modern quality to them. His prints are very minimal in colour, often monochromatic, but tonal differences and expressive figures create compelling works.
