Noah Parr
Noah Parr (B. 1990) is the son of Inuit master carver Nuna Parr.
He primarily carves bears and other traditional Inuit subjects. His work bears notable similarities to that of his father’s, particularly in regards to his bear’s playful forms and intricately carved eyes.
Noah lives in Kinngait (formerly Cape Dorset), NU. This small hamlet houses the largest community of Inuit artists in Canada. Like most carvers in this region, Noah mostly works with serpentine stone.
