Kulula Itulu

Born in 1952 (Kimmirut, Nunavut)

Kulula Itulu is an Inuit artist from Nunavut who specializes in the carving of narwhals. His pieces are often described as active and alive, coupled with beautiful proportions and lines.

Kulula is also known for he’s polishing of the stone, which always makes its sculptures look smooth and refined.

Kulula Itulu exposed at the Canadian Museum of Civilization and at the Musé des Beaux-arts.
